Aerial photography or drone filming is now a fundamental element of many film and video production projects. For our predominantly drone films we generally use DJi’s, from the Inspire2 – which shoots at 5.2K and flies like a helicopter at nearly 60mph – to the Mavic Pro, which is a more cost effective option. Licensed professional aerial filmmaking is available to all at Can-b Film.

With a bit of practice, anyone can fly a drone; although to be a master drone pilot demands a special skillset. The capture of beautiful, high-energy aerial images can make or break a film sequence. Flying a drone professionally and in contrasting conditions requires a degree of natural talent, wonderful hand-eye coordination and above all, an element of recklessness and danger.
