Disability charity film – video production (case study)

The brief

To create two films whilst following the NDCS roadshow, which was travelling around UK schools to heighten an understanding of deaf children and sign language.

Charity fundraising video

We decided one video was to be a sign-language guide, to show people the basics of ‘sign’ and convey it as an enjoyable and interesting skill to learn. The focus on this was to capture young children learning it with a slant on how simple it is to pick up. The second video was to create a short online add. This proved very difficult as the children put up for filming were extremely young and impossibly to direct effectively. We ended up producing a kind of cute, out-take film which went down very well.
