Ecotourism – travel promotional film (case study)

The brief

Working for The Guyana Tourism Authority and partnering with Acorn Tourism Consultants we were tasked to produce a series of films to promote tourism in this majestic and beautifully diverse but largely overlooked and unrecognised country. Ecotourism is a massive part of Guyana’s draw and we had to really push this forward in our video production process.

The approach

Ecotourism film production

We spent a month filming in the country with a slimline crew, to a very tight schedule. With the very broad nature of this project we decided to break the delivery down into 6 video production titles and build out the films from there. This one was to highlight the rich indigenous population. We decided the best way to present a film on ecotourism was to focus on the people themselves, giving a close video insight into their basic but very necessary trades, encompassing their way of life.
