Tv commercial – golf tourism advert production (case study)

The brief

To devise and produce two online adverts, utilising the company’s chief ambassadors at a celebrity golf day at a prestigious course in Surrey.

The approach

We only had limited time with talent Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke, so figured we’d be best to be isolated from the general hullabaloo of the celebrity day. We pinpointed a large conference room at the end of the clubhouse which could be dressed up according to the scene. The first ad was the main production focus. We scripted to have the two star players as normal everyday call centre workers, on the phones for the business. The client loved it so much, it ran on primetime Sky Sports for a period, including over the US Open Golf Championship.
